Death of Elvira #comic/#graphicnovel story by Elvira & David Avallone, Script by #davidavallone, art by #sylviacalfano, colors by #walterpereyra, letters by #tayloresposto, edited by #josephrybandt, cover by #daveacosta, and published by #dynamitecomics .
The comic/graphic novel centres around the iconic Actress/horror hostess Elvira aka the talented Cassandra Peterson - who appears here in gorgeous comic book form. Among many things #Elvira appeared in her over her 40 years in is Films, TV, YouTube, two Scooby-Doo movies, live performances etc.
The comic was wonderful. Gorgeous artwork and beautifully written. The dialogue was brilliantly witty. Elvira’s voice and personality is captured so well by writer David Avallone. I can hear her voice as I read it.
The story centres around Elvira recieving a creepy hate mail that leads to the 'death' of our heroine. Is Elvira really dead? who did the dreaded deed?

Without giving away the ending - I love the ending so much. Wonderful idea to have some of Elvira’s backstory mirror Cassandra Peterson’s own. I thought this was incredibly smart.Dynamite Comics have all done such a phenomenal job in the making of this stunning comic.
